In the prologue of John, we read that Jesus Christ was the true light that enlightens every man. For us Christians understand the true light:
1) The spiritual education to real life that Jesus teaches the gospel;
2) Grace, Humility, Peace and Mercy that we find in the expression of the loving face of the Redeemer which is reflected in the expression of the face of every person in need;
3 ) The Holy Sacraments which the Holy Church gives us;
4) The light of Christ's face.
In the verse of John's Gospel (John 1:12) and that of the Book of Psalms (Psalm 80, 4) we learn that every right person, at the instant after his last breath in life here on earth, not know the death, and therefore sin, because it rises through heavenly light and invisible of the Redeemer. If the lover of the Lord here on earth, surrounds the body of Christ Jesus the Bread of Eternal Life (the Eucharist), just after his last breath of life will be transformed into invisible light, and accepted by the light of the Savior in the sky like a ray of His Most Holy Body and His Holy Spirit. Here is what it means to Paradise: Living in the Light of Christ the beauty of " True Love" . For every holy soul, bodily death is nothing but the absolute purification of the spirit, because it comes off completely and permanently from the meat, which, in the flat world, is susceptible to corruption (John 1, 9-11). Precisely because it is completely pure, so the spirit can ever contemplate the Face of God the Father.
Who knows, the time of Jesus, what were the customs of the Jews, he knows that the funeral cloths were considered unclean because they touched a corpse. It happened, however, that the apostle John believed in the resurrection of his master after having contemplated the shroud (Jn. 20, 4-8).
What then happened?
The apostle had found a mark left by the Lord that the veil had become pure from impure because it had been illuminated by filtered light of Christ's face.
